This is a Jobling posy vase minus it's frog. It's pattern no. 2595 registered design no. 800440 part of a batch of numbers 800439-800443 issued to James A. Jobling on 19/2/1935. Thanks to www. great-glass website for this information.

Thanks both of you, it's actually about 6" across and to have a registration number is what all we glass collectors dream of. I just need to find a flower frog to go with it.

You and I seem to collect the same type of glass! I've just picked up this exact same posy vase, but I can't find a registration number. Where abouts should I look?

It's on the bottom, curved round, by the ridge around the edge. I've added a photo which I hope shows it. I picked this up from a fair for a few pounds.

Thanks NevB, I have found it now, but it is not very clear! I picked up mine in a charity shop, £3.
