    Isn't this typical of collecting? I'd never had one in my hands and now I possibly have two! This one is more whimsical and includes background scenery. I think it may well be Czech as they did produce bowls with metal rims and painted scenery.

    I haven't been able to find a replica of this, so any opinion/information you may have would be appreciated.

    I've added a link below to a Czech painted bowl which may well have come from the same area as this one.

    Diameter 19cm./7.5 inches Height 8.5 cm./3.5 inches

      Yeah, the very idea of the snail interacting with any other creature! In one image the pixie/gnome seems to playing to the snail much as a snake charmer would!!!

      Glad you like them Eza :) I wasn't collecting them until one tuned up and then the second about a week later! Eyes peeled then......
