Bought a half dozen, they were inexpensive and a tad blurry as they were taken by another hippie but fascinate me nonetheless. This day in the Hippie Era has been immortalized... Wonder what happened to them a half century later?

Well, the doggies have probably crossed the rainbow bridge. If they haven't, they should be in the Guinness Book of World Records.

The people seem to be mostly between the ages of, say, sixteen to thirty, so some of them may have also crossed the rainbow bridge, the law of averages being what it is.

The rest of them? Butchers, bakers, candlestick makers...hedge fund managers. It would be interesting to know, wouldn't it?

I wonder how long it was before someone said "Hey man, I think we are supposed to ride inside the bus, not on top..."

HippieArchaeologist, Eh yeah, that's something else that plays into mortality statistics. People under the age of 30 tend not to understand on more than a purely intellectual level that they're not immortal. >8-0

Far out, man!! These are such awesome pics. I remember a local hippie commune when I was a kid back in the early 70's. They lived in an old barn and called their commune "Cornucopia". We'd rarely see them venture out of that commune.
