This shaped vessel with lid is called a Ginger Jar.
But I know nothing more that would help you.

Thanks watch search, I have had it around 6 years, I think it’s chinese but maybe Japanese
I also thought the small round ones were ginger jars,
It is a Japanese Ginger Jar, less frequently known as a Japanese Urn or Lidded Vase. A couple similarly designed Japanese Ginger Jar examples to research are the TOYO and ARTMARK brands. These jars often had foil or paper labels instead of painted marks on the bottom making it difficult to identify years later after the labels wear off.
