We got Breakfast down the road, at the Harbor, and after, went for a walk on the Bay Point Trail. It's a nice walk, on an unimproved Beach Nature Preserve Trail. At high tide, or during the Winter rains, it's not really a place that you can walk, it's mainly Peat Bog, and can get soggy and mucky quick, as it was, still today, on a cool Summer Day, on the 10th of July, in spots, but not bad! :^D
The first photo is an Inlet Waterway, just after the Trail starts.
Second my Wife and Son, heading down the Trail, towards the Sacramento River, at Grizzly Bay, the start of the San Francisco Bay.
Third is an old Wreck Boat, that marks the entrance to the Harbor.
Forth is the End of the Trail, an my Wife, looking Northeast up the Sacramento River, and the Sierra Nevada Mountain Range in the far distance!

Great nature shots Bill, you & the family live in a beautiful scenic place, looks like a very enjoyable hike. Thanx for sharing
Thanks Watchsearcher, it's almost like being in a different place out there, in the middle of nature, but if we turn around, and look southwest, we can see our home a short distance up the hill, and in the middle of a housing tract, although, the hills open up a whole different area, and a view that looks out over the Sacramento River Valley, and miles of open grasslands, then, over the hill, a view of miles of City Lights, I guess we couldn't live in a better area, and why we've lived here for 33 yrs., or for me 64 yrs. in the area! :^D
Thank you Jenni, we do live in a very scenic area! I took around 60 photos on our mile hike, and I picked these, more to tell a story, because there were so many beautiful close-ups of the different Wild Flowers, and Plants, and Bees buried in the Wild Artichoke Blooms, that to have to show it in just 4 photos, this was the only way! I'm so glad that you enjoyed it! You're welcome! :^D

I would have stayed awake the hole time too, not because I couldn't sleep, just because I wouldn't want to miss anything! :^D I love seeing the views from so high up, even over the Oceans! B^o
That's the amazing part, is being able to travel so far and meet up with a CW friend, I thought it was great when I met Bill(olebodie) and we were only 200mi. apart, Pete(ho2cultcha), and I live only 30mi. apart and we haven't met in person yet, and that's a very easy thing to do. There's so many wonderful Friends here on CW, that I would love to meet in person, like you have done, with Elisabeth, it's just doing it! "Bold Talk For A One Eyed Fat Man!" b^)
