This 2" triple plume rhinestone & goldtone brooch is styled after the famous diamond & gold "Prince of Wales" brooch made for the Duchess of Windsor Wallis Simpson in the mid-1930s. Designed by Alfred Philippe for Trifari in 9/49, patent #155218, also done in colored rhinestones

Thanks Eileen, I'm really glad you enjoyed the history behind this as did I. Mrs Simpson was said to have a stunning jewelry collection and many costume makers made knockoffs of them, for example her flamingo brooch was a beauty. Thanks for the lovely compliments!
