Found this leather bag while I was helping with a vacant house clean up. Wondering if anyone recognizes the brand, it looks somewhat familiar but I can't for the life of me figure it out. Unfortunately, the writing is worn off. The gold logo looks like the initials "ND", the inside writing that is legible reads, "Made exclusively....Made in USA".

I can't speak for the purse but I can tell you about "Made Exclusively in the USA". That was a scam manufacturers used to sucker people into thinking they were getting something really special off a department store shelf. The term was totally legal as long as the words Made in the USA were there. It had nothing to do with value or quality only with where it was made. People caught on to it quickly and most manufacturers backed away from using the term. Their attempt to boost sales resulted in a black eye and egg on their face.
