I recently purchased this piece! This is a rather large old pot metal brooch. It was missing a couple smaller stones, but I replaced. Hope you enjoy this piece!

Mrstyndall, I think this Brooch looks great, but it also is one that could be "Kyratised"! :^D I like to use Sharpie Colored Permanent Markers, to add a little Color, to brighten the piece when needed for fun! Blue Feathers, and a Green Head, would make the Red 'pop'. I like them because the clear colors take on a Metallic look, when used on Metal. I love this Brooch though, thanks for showing! :^)

Eileen, That is a simply fantastic bird. Love those red teardrop stones. Love the pose and it is so large, I think that really big size is circa 1939-1941. What do you think?
