This was sold to me in France, and was called French without any more information. I spent yesterday sleuthing for a more precise I dentification of this ornate 'pissenlit' or dandelion study, with wonderful hand applied enamels, and the flower and leaves in their various states.

The result was Legras, for C1900, no designer named, but lucky for them, they have lots of old catalogs to help with attributions.

There has also been over the years some bohemian art glass that was claimed to be Legras from that period. I came across this again, when gorgeous tube like vases had a lush colorful pansy enamel decoration, which were identified as both Moser and Legras MontJoie.

Our grounds are full of weeds with all the rain we have had in the last month, especially dandelions, yellow and green everywhere.

Thanks Silverwolf and Billretire. They have not arrived yet from France and hoping they make it ok on the slower cheaper shipping process. Just got another package from there with a broken glass vase.

I am really keen to examine the decor, and see the glass etching and decorations. I also felt they were special.

This weekend I did a a lot of browsing in the French/Belgian realm of antique/vintage decorative glass and came across a similar pair with same vase shape and color. They were sold at a high priced auction house with an in-house expert and declared to be French, by the St. Denis Art Nouveau glass production. It's always nice to be able to add more information to your collection pieces.
