Been thinking about you lately, my friend...
You remind me of my neighbor, Willy, who is also a collector of fine things, including cars.
On his property there is a huge warehouse we call “The Museum”. You can spend hours in there. Couple of Model A’s or T’s. I dunno. Old bicycles, including one of those that has a monster front wheel, you need a ladder to get to the seat. A race car, several 30’s -50’s pedal cars. Oh, I could go on. Then his house! He didn’t have beautiful glass vases like you, but he loved “money- operated” machines(?) Some took a penny, to gamble for a cigarette, or a horse race, they were everywhere. Have you ever seen an antique time clock? This was the first thing you saw when you went into his house. About 7 feet tall, all oak with monster hand dials to spin around to find your time. Had the paper and everything. From a Macy’s! ( ya know, that store has been around since 1858!) Ok, enough blabbing, just wanted to drop a line to say Hi!
And that’s one gorgeous car you have there!!

Sorry this is the only social media I do..
And sadly, ( this is hard even to type) “ people” decided my neighbor could not longer live on his own, ( he’s 87). They removed him from his home, and all his treasures went in every direction. I had some things stored up there, that he was more than happy to do for me. But when I got a call about what was happening, ( my friend was already off the property) , I couldn’t go up there, so I sent my Daughter and her husband. He should of been left in his home...oh, it’s a long sad story. But he also had a Seth Thomas clock, but not a huge one, it was up on the wall. I miss my neighbor very much, he is such a nice ole guy :(

That’s a lot of horses to get out of a non supercharged engine. What is it? I love old stuff and we have a Museum filled with gas/oil signs, cars, planes etc that is free to the public and am always looking for sources to buy more. U can check us out at Lakeside Storage online we are in Provo Ut. I love your 34! I have a 32 roadster/rod that I used to drive with the grandkids. It’s now just for show.

The other day I was driving real slow in a nasty trailer park, ( not all are nasty, but this one was) and as I was looking for a dog I heard whining to see if he was ok. Never found him, but under a tree there was a bunch of cars with weeds growing up around them. There was a green 1960 caddy, just like my Mom had, ( her’s was white though) , it was a coupe de ville. Then there was a car with suicide doors, looked to be 30’s-40’s. A friend had something similar in High School. Anyway, it made me think of you and your friends. Sad to see these classics rotting away in the elements. I wanted the Cadillac, Ha!
Happy Thanksgiving Bill, I’m thankful for the rain, finally!

It’s early here in Cali, and I’m watching American Pickers to pass the time until I have to take my Grandkids to School. They’re showing old cars and I started thinking of you Bill. They’re showing 57 Chevy’s. My Brother had one back in High School. He had the interior redone in Tuck & Roll, and for Christmas there was 4 “Mags” wrapped under the tree for it. It was “cherry” all around! It was complete with an 8-track and I used to sit in it ( when he wasn’t around, Ha!) and listen to Credence and Steppenwolf. He got tired of the car and get this —- sold it to some girl for $200! He graduated to Mustangs, and used to street race, they called him “Captain Crunch”! Ah, the good old days!
      Happy Holidays Bill!

Oops, I believe I already told you about Mike’s Chevy, but I didn’t tell you how he gave it away. My memory isn’t as good as it used to be-Ha! Really just wanted to wish you a wonderful Holiday Season, my friend.

Ms.CrystalShip We are definitely kindred spirits for I too am watching American Pickers and was thinking of you. Cool story about your brother could not imagine four mags under the tree bet he was able to guess what they were. Hope whoever Mike gave his Chevy to appreciates it. Hope you had a great Thanksgiving and a very Merry Christmas
