This little bracelet was in a red pouch with a blue label as seen in the provided photo.
It's actually a solid sterling bracelet made in Taxco Mexico by Plateria Margarita.
The silver has not been cleaned as I just opened the pouch to see what was in it, tonight. I thought it was just costume jewelry but much to my surprise, it is marked otherwise.

That really *IS* a nifty design! :-) :-) :-) I'd wanna clean it up and wear it myself if it was actually big enough?!! (how long is it anyway, maybe the links are a little bigger than I'm guessing?)

Vintage mexican silver jewelry is just the best if you ask me! Great find. A lot of the times it will just be a number and hard to find out who made it, but here you have a piece that really tells you who made it. Unusual and fun with the marked bag to go with it, make sure to keep it together. I am sorry to correkt your writing but you should say that it was made by Plateria Margarita in the town of Taxco in Mexico. Taxco was The place for silver jewelry back in the days. They had a lot of talented silversmiths. They made such grate modernist looking jewelry that feel cool and modern even today. Here is a link for you where you can read more about mexican silver jewelry. When you have cleaned your bracelet up you might be able to find some more marks that will tell you how old this piece is. I think it is at least from the 70's but probably older. I am not familiar with this maker so I don't know their history.

It looks like there is more text on there, Tores FC or something? If so that could be the name of the actual silversmith. The Plateria Margarita would be the name of the silversmith business/company.

Thank you so much, Elisabethan. That is great information and I will correct what I wrote previously as to not confuse anyone who needs the correct research info.
