I have a collection of HObbyline HO Trains. I added to it this past Sunday finding this train set at a train show in Hamburg, Pennsylvania.
The name given to this set by HObbyline is "The Ridgerunner" and is set number 446. Photo one is how I acquired it, and in photo two I changed 2 of the cars to match information of what cars came with the set as seen in the 1955 catalog coming with this set. A artist drawn picture of the set is within the 1955 catalog now match the cars I placed within it. The third picture shows the correct cars that did come with this set. I show the catalog cover page with the photo three. Also coming with the set are 3 flyers to help with care and maintenance of the set . I included these flyers in photo four. The largest of these flyers is a list of Authorized service stations throughout the United States. In the list for New Jersey 23 hobby shops and model train stores are listed. Pennsylvania the home state for HObbyline has a list of 42 shops. For us old people this list is a walk through our past, with pictures of some of these shop well known to us appearing in our minds.
