Recently, I found a bunch of plastic bangles. They all came from the same store.
These are two lovely celluloid bangles. They make a perfect addition to my vintage plastic collection.

My celluloid bracelets are cream or coral color. Pretty floral tones.

I know nothing of plastics, but isn't celluliod the oldest?

Eileen - yes and no. Yes, celluloid plastic is very old. These carved lovelies are mainly from Japan after WWII which I believe is the timeframe for these as well. There are 1920-30's celluloid jewelry items, but those are very finely carved, and so delicate because they were meant to imitate coral.

These are very pretty. Hardly ever see old plastic bangles, they are rare here.
