    I found this lovely woven basket covered in fabric. The fabric was then painted and it appears to have asian markings on the rim of one side.

    The basket is rather large... approx. 2' X 2' X 2'

    Can anyone tell me anything about this basket? Is there a special name for this type of basket?

      After more research, I'm wondering if this basket is an antique chinese willow basket.

      Does anyone agree? And do you believe it is an older basket?
