Got a pair of these later issue GI Joe jeeps now so I have a proper Rat Patrol plus all the right hats. Troy has the Aussie hat, Moffitt (the brit) has a beret, Hitchcock has the kepi and Pettigrew the helmet. No Dietrich their noble foe though.
The Rat Patrol TV show was based on the British SAS but the Americans had no such unit. Chances are an American unit like this would be calling in artillery. Anyway American jeeps in WWII went about heavily armed.
Looks like my background did not cooperate with my photoshoot but moving on.
Tomorrow another Steve Scout set.
Super vignette fort, great hats on the soldiers from different countries - every time I see a black beret I think of Gen Montgomery. Loved the Rat Patrol TV show!

Great rendition of the show, you even have the kepi for the driver. If they made a M7 Priest, you could have a Panzer for your diorama.
