posting this for my mother. can someone tell me what it is. I cant find anything else like it. only ones I can find only have 1 door.

The one your mother has is a double sided secretary. Since it does have the secretary, the sides would likely have been used as bookshelves. Basically like a work space or “office” space back in the day. It’s beautiful, I saw a double sided this weekend at an auction. I’m regretting not buying it. You’re right, you mostly only see single sided.
