I recently bought this brooch online! I am definitely attracted to clear crystal and rhinestone creations. Not much money as it is not signed and when purchased missing a few tiny rhinestones. I felt the design was in the style of Pennino. No signature so all a guess. Measurements 2 and 1/4" tall by 1 and 1/2" wide.
Last picture is from Judith Miller's Costume Jewelry showing similar Pennino brooches.
Thanks for stopping by.
Gorgeous vintage brooch, in the design I am seeing a wedding bouquet - just lovely!
Wonderful brooch, more beautiful than the others!
Ken, Eisenberg! Hadn't thought of that, but makes perfect sense. Will try to find more early Eisenberg images and learn a bit more about them.
Newfld, I agree, it does look like a bouquet! Maybe that's why I was attracted to it.
Elizabethan, Thank you for the compliment.
Also thanks for Malkey, fortapache, AdeleC, and aura for the loves.
Maureen, the first maker to come to mind was Eisenberg!
Ken has many beautiful Eisenberg pieces, and he has dated a couple for me. So he knows his Eisenberg. This is a a lovely old piece, reminds me of Old Hollywood...Timeless!
I, too, love Eisenberg, I would love to get my hands on some Eisenberg Originals, especially their figural pieces, but, alas, they run into 4 figures! Takes all the fun out of it.
Check out Bluboi’s wonderful Eisenberg figurals! She has Piggy goes to Market, The Mermaid, Puss in Boots, and a Can-Can Dancer!! Eisenberg made a Ram figural I would give anything to have..( being Aries)
Hi Eileen, I'm following Bluboi and just went and looked up the figurals. They are outstanding. I have seen the ram figural in one of the lots of the Southeby's auction catalog of Marilyn Alsdorf's costume collection. Love those old Eisenbergs. I'm with you, wish I could find them. (sigh)
