    Ophir is a wonderful internally decorated decor that comes in rubin, dark blue, green, Russian green, and brown grounds coated with aluminum powder bands and cased in an outer layer of amber. This one is the Russian Green variety, and according to the production notes associated with the paper pattern for this shape, Russian green with DEK 516 was made for Loetz's representative in Paris at the time, Boudon & Klahr. So, this piece was originally made for the French market.
