Sorry tryed to rotate pics. to no avail???? Antique Davenport Desk was in my wifes Maine family home. Her brother got the Sextant and other nautical items. She got the desk. Small 22 by 22 and 29 inches high. Well made. Drawers on one side other side dummy drawers. I was always going to get the top a new-tooled leather writing surface. Someday!!!!

Wonderful! Thanks for sharing this! That is what they look like. Do you use it? The very top of the desk would be a perfect "parking place" for the mobile phones in the family. I need to find such a cool parking place so I can get our teenagers to park their mobilens there after 21.00. I want them to take a break from them :)

I really would use this, it is beautiful!

It's been tucked in a corner for years. Pulled it out after the CW's comments we put up.
Cleaned out the drawers of 25 years old stuff that was in it. Bank statements insurance stuff!!! Wife thru out a lot! But some of the stuff brought back memories. Couple of 1926 McCalls Magazines. I'll put up soon. a lot of Flapper style dresses.

      yougottahavestuff, Beautiful.

An old CW S&T hand like you got tripped up by the picture orientation problem? >8-0

Did you take those pictures with a smart phone or a tablet? Because that's usually what causes the CW software to post pictures sideways.

If you have a desktop or laptop computer, edit the pictures on it, then edit your post, deleting the sideways ones, and add in the modified ones.

You don't necessarily need to change the pictures, other than saving them in some manner on a desktop or laptop computer. When the CW software looks at the properties of the 'modified' picture, it'll be happy and post them upright.
