This thing was really hard to photograph, never did get it right. Anyway I have been looking for one of these older shopping carts for over a year. I haven't been buying large items and this will be much easier to handle at the fleas like PCC, Rose Bowl and Long Beach. For those who don't think a cart comes in handy try buying a lawn gnome and carrying it around.
Not sure how old this is but it is not the style of the current carts which are usually blue of black and there are fancy versions with front wheels that turn. The ones that have front wheels that don't turn have to be tilted up and pushed on just the rear wheels otherwise they are very hard to handle.
Going to Long Beach this weekend so the new cart will get its first workout.
PS they call these granny carts.
I have a really old one. Now days I put a garbage bag in it and set my paper shredder on top so I can bag up old shredded documents so they burn faster in the fire pit. Once out to the pit I replace the garbage bag with a new empty one and toss my beer cans in it while tending the fire.

I have one of these that my parents had hanging in their shed for many years....now hanging in my shed. I think I should get it out and put it to use when I bring groceries in the house from my car. Thanks for jogging my memory!
Thank you very much Watchsearcher. My parents have a nice one they don't use anymore with steerable wheels. Perhaps I should borrow it.
