Need some help/ opinions on this one please....all I know is he’s a noted artist in Japan. Every thing points to a original Japan print for 1934 but I need some of you experts to give your opinions on this.. there’s no other makings on the paper ...the print measures out approx 22 x 37 1/2. only the black area was measured..its on textured paper. I checked to see if the printing company was around in the 1930’s and it was...... so what do you think? Thank you .

Let's stop and think about the lettering being in English.

Thanks already have.. seems it’s a poster made for promoting Japanese tourism for other counties to read which used English language. Still interesting opinion.

Interesting comment thanks. I thought about that for a moment and googled up something interesting ..there was a tariff act of 1930 which required importec items to be clearly marked with country of origin.. this might help some. http://www.npllptradelaw.com/country-of-origin-and-marking

Difficult to put an age to your poster. There's some information about the original in the link below. The image certainly holds its' own among all The Japanese Government Railway pictures. Hope you find this useful.

Thanks it really helps a lot .. that’s the same one.. I see they are selling a copy of it ...a large (11 x 18 inch) poster for 500 bucks! Yikes! Well that sells it to me. I believe mines a original. The image is identical to to Getty museum but in mines in actual size... nice. Thank you for all the help I greatly appreciate it..
