    Art Deco genre WWII ad featuring Mercedes-Benz products. A good example of how art can be an influence on its viewers.

    I present this solely for artistic appreciation.

      Yes, Thomas, I thought so, too. The power of art is immeasurable. obviously, this is a German production, but all sides used such technique to bolster morale on "the home front".

      Comparison of such means to win the "hearts and minds" of the citizens of the Nations involved would make for a lively discussion, I am sure.....

      Ted, is this ad to show that Mercedes Benz was involved in the production of Luftwaffe planes during WW2, the poster art is quite good

      And true, the ad is powerfully impressive!

      And, yes, this ad is a great example of that movement.....

      It certainly would get the message across to inspire a sense of supreme power of the Germans and instill a sense of fear in those the military is coming for.
