    Hello I have this interesting looking stone and Am not sure what it is , so hoping someone has a idea. Looks like tigers eye but I think I might be wrong. Quite big looks about 5cts at least,it must have been a unusual piece

      Hey ST,
      Funny I was selling a similar ring with a stone like this, about the same color, and the same semi opaque swirl texture.
      I decided it was one of the pale range carnelian stones, I am familiar with this because I used to buy strands of genuine carnelian beads from a provider in the USA to make jewelry with sterling wires.
      The amazing range was surprising, from pale peach, to dark red. See if I can find an old picture so you can look for yourself.
