This 2 3-4"W fish brooch has a harlequin patterned body of seafoam green & blue enamel with a bright turquoise rhinestone eye on goldtone. By Trifari ca 60s or 70s

Gorgeous! I adore the lovely deep blue and green hues of this little fish- and I especially love her little curled back tail and large lips, she reminds me of what I used to draw as a very small child (I was obsessed with all things oceanic!) and spent lots of time drawing fish like this!

Lauren thank you for the really sweet compliments, I too love the happy colors in this fishy and they do sort of look drawn in by crayons! Isn't that tail bushy and cute, like when real fish flare their tail, also it reminds me a little of a gingko leaf
Ken I thought you would recognize this one, I think in your past collection I have seen the all goldtone version of this, which also came in other enamels too. Found this awhile ago on the rl site & was really taken in by its pretty color blends, your Trifari has such lovely and varied pieces, appreciate your super compliments as always

Many thanks Eileen for the warm praise and I really adore comparisons to the pix in children's books for my animals, I think that reaffirms to me that you can be any age to love animals & hopefully the kiddies will learn young to nurture and support conservation.
