This 3" round brooch has a carved central cameo surrounded by goldtone filigree. By Hobe (1927-1995) ca 1950s from a very nice lady's private collection. Those familiar with Schafer and Vater jasperware please confirm for me, I think the woodland nymph & cherubs cameo scene looks very much styled after their jasperware designs

Thanks Eileen for the super analogy, this definitely has a Midsummer Night's Dream vibe to it! Although if you check out Schafer and Vater jasperware (which have cameo fronts like Wedgwood) they often used similar winged sprites and standing cherubs like these, so I think this Hobe was inspired by them. Found this on rl from a lovely older lady selling her collection. Wonderful compliments thank you so much
