I Inherited these from my parents all I know is that’s they had them for 50 plus years and that they belonged to my Grandmother. Thanks for your help

There is something stenciled it either says shirt desk or short desk in black letters
It’s on the back

Probably around 1950's. Research vintage danish short desk. If I were you I wouldn't rush into doing a restoration unless you are a professional. Some of these go for thousands of dollars if done correctly.

I was thinking about painting it with chalk paint because I want to use it not sell it . It doesn’t match anything in our house
If the inside of the drawers is unfinished could you post a picture of the inside of a drawer front? The exterior of this isn't telling me it is maple.
