Hello everyone!!
My latest find is this nicely detailed rabbit still bank. Though it's painted white, it is made of copper. I was really impressed with the fine detail on this one, from his eyes down to his paws. He is a two piece design held together with two screws, one in the front and one in the back (visible in pics #2 and #4 ).
I'm really not sure why anyone would want to paint this copper rabbit, and I'm not even sure if the paint is original to it. I personally would have preferred the copper, which produces a nice patina over time. But, I'll let him remain untouched.
I'm not sure of the age of this one, but, from the looks of him. I'm apt to believe he's no older than the 1960's, possibly 1970's.He measures 6" tall, 6" deep and 3 1/2" wide. I'm unable to locate any markings to indicate who the manufacturer was.

He's a beautiful big fluffy fella, very nice Scott! I can understand why the white paint, maybe someone like myself had owned a white rabbit :)

Thank you very much! Either it was painted by a previous owner or it's original to it. I'm still not sure.
Yep Thomas, perhaps this one took one of mother's little pills and made itself smaller:)

Thanks Eileen!! I'd forgotten about this one. With all of this pandemic happening, I certainly hope that the Easter celebration doesn't get postponed like so many other things. Hopefully, we'll get thru this pandemic before Easter arrives.
Thanks Eileen!! This crazy year will year has been a total dumpster fire, so far! As you said, we've missed Easter, now Thanksgiving and quite possibly Christmas as well. My youngest son is a high school basketball coach as well as a math teacher. He's loving the NTI classes. With NTI, he doesn't have to get up as early and he can dress more casual. But, like you, no one in my huge family has been affected by the COVID-19.
