Checking on names of these samples. There is a label showing Scutt's 4 point steel cable 1880 the other is some rowell type. The nail is square.

I can't comment on the wire. The nail is a standard cut nail. They have been making those nails for a couple hundred years and still make them today. Only difference is today they are made of hardened steel. The old ones are collectable but with little value compared to barbed wire.
