Lovely 76" rope of crochet glass beads from the 1920's that I found last weekend in Richmond , VA swap/antique mall. Beautiful Bohemian green glass beads. Also sharing a page from the New Bead Book 1924 which has instructions for this design.

Gorgeous green beads, I can picture them swaying to the Charleston in the Gatsby era, great find Mary!

Jenni - thanks. Can't imagine how much time it took to MAKE this!! But yes, very sturdy and could sway to the Charleston beat :-)

Scott - thank you, these ropes must have taken so long to make!

Eileen - I love the color too. I think many of these ropes were made and then sold to dress and millinery shops.

Ken - thank you for your nice comment.

Ivonne - thank you, these are so timeless and sturdy :-)

CW Thanks to Fort, Lisa, Maureen, Kevin for your loves :-)

Kyra - thank you, I don't think my necklace had the tassels, but I could be wrong because over the years the tassels were often taken off. This color is easy to photograph :-)
