Its a very cool brooch- I like the snarling expression and find it an ever so slightly threatening pose! It took me a while to figure out in the thumbnails what it actually was and now I see it I can make out his little bottom tooth and his wild eye!

Nice find, Jenni! I have seen some of the panther bracelets at different times. Not sure if they were Eisenberg or not though. Great shape on this too :)

Thank you Ken for the lovely compliments very glad you enjoyed this

Scott, your wonderful compliments are always super appreciated & very glad you liked my wildcat pin

Thanks Eileen, isn't he a stylish panther, I was very excited to get this from rl some yrs ago, one of my first animal costume pieces! I think the detail of the face is excellent, the ridging, and although fierce the panther doesn't look ferocious as in the Carnegie pieces. Thank you so much for your wonderful praise always

Lauren he is a wild one, especially with one upper & one lower fang! It's a small but well done panther head, I like to wear it on a coat lapel and get a lot of cool comments :) So glad you enjoyed this and always love your fantastic comments

Lol Mary grrreat, Tony the tiger! Thank you so much for the super smile & great compliments. About the flower posy I don't know, it is a finished pin though, what I am sure of is they used the same panther head on a bangle bracelet, you can see that on google & other sites just punch in Eisenberg panther bracelet 1955 - XOXO

Thank you MrsT for the fab compliments, yes this panther head was one of the original designs used on bracelets (Elizabeth Taylor had a Cartier), they are always super pricy so I'm content to just have the animal head
