We found this Durand Console Set this past weekend at a local show. You so seldom see these sets together so we had to bring it home. The price was well beyond reasonable and that helped.
The set consists of a 2036 E Center Bowl and two 2044 E candle holders. In this instance the "E" décor designation is Golden Yellow and all pieces have an applied Gold Lustre foot.
The bowl is signed with the Durand script signature and numbered 2036 E, One candle holder is marked with the number 2044 E. All are ca. 1924-31, most likely mid to late 20s.
Bowl:
4-1/8" tall
5-3/4" diameter at the mouth
Candle Holders:
3-1/8" tall
4-1/2" diameter across top
