Although I am not sure of the source of this poster, it is a poster which shows the 5 original members of the Grateful Dead. (L-R) Bob Weir, Phil Lesh, Ron “Pigpen” McKernan, Bill Kreutzmann, and Jerry Garcia. I believe this poster was likely issued early on, and soon after the band changed their name from the Warlocks to the Dead.

The Warlocks were formed in 1964 from the remaining members of a band called Mother McCree’s Uptown Jug Champions. They found out there was a band by the same name that had signed a recording contract, and changed their name to what would become a legend in the world of Acid Rock and Roll. They became the Grateful Dead in 1965.

Sorry, but I reversed the order of the band members in the lineup. Left to right they are Jerry Garcia, Bill Kreutzmann, Ron “Pigpen” McKernan, Phil Lesch, and Bob Weir. My bad....
