I've been looking at this vase for a while and finally decided to buy it. It's about 9" x 9" and weighs over 5lbs/ 2.3kg. and is spectacular lit from the inside by UV light. I think it's 1920's, Czech and could be by Franz Welz or a similar maker but I'll have to investigate further. Only downside is the chip on the rim.

Thanks welzebub, I've added the extra photo which I hope is ok, the dealer I bought it from was asking £38 for it but had had it for some time so I got it for £25 which I thought was pretty good.
