This 2" dragonfly brooch has green and yellow pearly enamel wings with multi color oval & round rhinestones, on goldtone. By Monet (founded 1937) ca 1980s

Such a pretty colored piece!
This is a really beautiful brooch- usually you see dragonflies in shades of green and blue but this is different. I've always loved the motif of dragonflies anyway- I think the image of them is so serene, you can imagine this one drifting over a summery pond somewhere....:)

Lauren I agree, dragonflies are such cool images and this one would look wonderful flying around a summer pond, here we often call them by a nickname "darning needles" because of their dipping flight patterns. Thank you so much for the fabulous compliments & image you are always so kind
