Undulating Bowl (169 F-10) measures 14 3/8" long X 9 3/8" wide X 5 1/2" tall. Earthenware (Terra Cotta). Early 1950's.
In Good to Fair condition. Unfortunately it was badly damaged. Five small chips and a piece broken off and poorly glued; as well as one chip filled in with cheap putty and painted over with low quality oil paint.
Did best at repair. Removed previous "repairs", re-epoxied and filled in with Amaco Bisque Fix and painted over with Pebeo Porcelaine 150 paints.
Piece painted by Sigrid Richter. She left Gustavsberg about 1955 to work for Rorstrand. In 1960's she returned to Hanover Germany to open her own pottery studio.
