Ms.Crystal…
(115 items)
Here they are, as promised.
Ten to date, two different style guitars, three lutes, a saxophone, a banjo, a harp, a treble clef, and the ever so rare clarinet!
I have a ways to go, as D & E sure loved to make their figurals, there’s always one that eludes you, such as the electric guitar. Seen it once for sale, but condition was terrible. Purchased another harp the other day in ab blue, but the seller informed me of chipped stones. No thanks! Just keep looking...
And thank you all for loving my “band”.
ENJOY!
Such an awesome group you have!
Thank you for posting and keep up the search for some more ;)
Thanks for putting them all together. Love them!! Now we must all be on the lookout for the electric guitar :)
These are really GREAT Eileen!! I love the group photo of them all.
They're wonderful. The colors are fantastic. I keep staring at the photo, which is my favorite? So hard to say as they are all fabulous. But I'm leaning toward the banjo.:)
Can't wait to see your next find.
Ha ha what a wonderful post! Love the idea. I can hear the music. You should wear them to a consert. My favourite is the blue one. Keep on rocking Ms.ChrystalShip!
Thank you Elisabeth! These are indeed fun to collect. Whenever I wear one, I get asked if I play that particular instrument. Ha! I’m looking for the electric guitar, hope to find it soon. And please..call me Eileen :)
Thank you Ken..
Sorry for the late response, my Grandsons keep me hopping.
They are pretty together with all the dolors, huh? Thanks again, my friend!
MrsT., I am always on the lookout for a new piece to add to the band! Thank you for your kind words.
You are so welcome Mary..and yes please keep your eye out for the guitar! I have only seen one in my day, but I know, in time, I will find another. Just keep looking....
Thank you Scott, here’s hoping to add more to the band!
Maureen, the banjo is pretty, with the purple & fuchsia stones! One has to be careful when buying these. The strings are sometimes crooked, or the stones are too. Mr. DeLizza called it “sloppy work”. My favorite...the clarinet! I was told by another D & E collector , that this one is ultra rare. She only has seen one other, and it was ruined. I also saw one but it was missing the baguette and pear shape ( mouthpiece) at the end. It was done in milk glass and pastels. So sad it was ruined too :(
Foseatme, thank you for such kind words, they certainly are, aren’t they? Lol
And thank you all for the loves, dears!
dolors? When, oh when, are we going to be able to edit our comments?
I really do know how to spell, ha!
Love your band. Awesome! Yes, yes let us edit the comments! Happy New Year Eileen! :)
Maureen, thanks once again! I was just taking pictures for an upcoming post.
According to the seller, quite rare. I believe her because I have never seen this design before...stayed tuned ! Lol
What a great collection! Simply beautiful!
Thank you Relivingthepast!
These are so much fun to collect, glad you like them.
Also I love how you “recycled” that beautiful Kramer brooch!
Kramer is another I love and collect. Your brooch from the front looks pristine, I can see why you receive compliments! Good job!
