Carlson Wagonlit light up sign. I think this might be from the late 1960 or early 1970. The last picture is of one of the light bulbs. It measures 17 feet long, two feet deep and the Hight is 2.5 feet. Going to have to find some LED lights for this. Update found some cheap lights that I am going to use for the sign.

Neat sign! I think, however, that the glass things aren't 'light bulbs' themselves, instead sockets which first held neon tubing...??
AnythingObscure thank you for the information. I wonder what would be the cheapest way to light this sign up? Was thinking of buying some Ikea battery operated lights.
From the looks (and size) of it, it likely used to have individually formed neon tubing letters, each with two 'legs' on its backside which would correspond to the two glass 'sockets' per letter. Not really sure what kind of "cheaper" alternatives would replicate that, but having new neon made would certainly *not* be on the list... ;-) :-)

Hi AnythingObscure Carson Wagonlit was a Travel agency. I believe they were around in the late 1960 or early 1970. I bought some inexpensive lights from the dollar store LoL. Emailed a place that does neon signs and they gave me a quote of $800 to redo the sign. To expensive LOL. Thanks for your input, always appreciated.
