An original Steelcraft Bus, circa 1940’s , restored . Designed by the famous industrial designer and teacher Viktor Schreckengost. Check out his book if interested.
The bus measures 21" long by 7" tall by 7" wide. The bus was only manufactured for less than three months when production was stopped for the WW11 war effort. Been looking for one of these forever finally snagged one. Truly a streamlined designed for its day. A beautiful Art Deco design from the 40”s . The last picture is some of my collectibles with only couple restored. Some are mint in box. Took me many years to find these and not pay top dollar.
Hope you enjoy this rare piece.

Keramikos....actually I added the 3rd picture on after your comment. It got me thinking about the designer a bit more. He taught some well respected auto designers out of Detroit. Like the guy who designed the 1965 mustang and the 2005 all new design Mustang. His influence is felt in a lot of our products today.
