I found this really large paintbrush at the fleamarket today. i gave my collection of old paintbrushes to my sweet cousin in nyc, but i continue to collect them and will give her these others one of these days.

Your paint brush is actually a wallpaper brush.
Funny I just watched a Ronald Reagan western "Law and Order" and he was using a brush like that to wallpaper the ranch house for his future bride Dorothy Malone.
I love brushing up on old Westerns!!!

There were brushes very similar to this but with much stiffer bristles that you used with homemade whitewash to paint fences, barns, houses etc. Most folks wouldn't know how to make whitewash anymore.
barn paint brush, for those red colored barns people like to have.......Just kidding.
