I just found a couple of newspapers from Lincoln Nebraska 1933 with news of the State Fair.
I took a few pictures of some of the many interesting articles. John Wayne movie, article about a boy taking gold from his grandfather and going on a spending spree, Gary Cooper and more.

Ten cents to see a movie!
Now it takes a c- note to take the family and get refreshments!
In my youth, we would get to see 2 movies and a cartoon..for .25!
My Mom would drop us off and we spent the whole day at the movie theatre!
Did I give away my age? Ha! I’m not that old :)
