This is an old blown glass, emerald green, wheel cut and then gold painted perfume or vanity bottle.
A lot goes into making these old art glass bottles. The base is complete with a polished pontil.
The stopper is original and hollow blown and sheered. Measures about 4 5/8" to the top of the stopper.
I don't know how old it is nor do I know if it's Bohemian, Italian, French or American.
The thrift store wrapped it in wide clear packing tape to hold the top on. I had to run very warm water on it for a while to release the tape without pulling the gold off.

Truthordare thank you. Would you know if it is actually a perfume?
I did wonder that and looked at the height you gave including the large stopper, because they did make squat and wide liquor sets a bit later, but no the bottle cavity is too small, perfume makes more sense, or an after shave lotion for men.

I have a similar dresser set; a few pieces. My mom put it in the dishwasher and some of the gold came off:( Mine is very dark red but made the same way as your bottle. I strongly believe that mine is of Bohemian origin. This is based one the style but also on the fact that my mom's family lived literally a stone's throw away from the Czech border.
