This was one of the fun Finds at the Flea Market a couple of weeks ago! It's a 1940's New York Giants Baseball cereal box premium Brass Ring, made by Robbins Co.
When I first saw the Ring, it interested me, but several other people were going through the box of Jewelry that it was in, each picking it up, then tossing it back in the box. Searching for Gold or Silver I guess. So when they left I looked in the Box, found the Ring, and several other things that were there, and asked the seller "how much?" He gave me a price that I couldn't refuse, so I got the things, including The Ring! :^D After I got home I did a search for the Ring, and after a few different searches I found the same Giants Ring, and was surprised to find out it was a New York Giants, and not the San Francisco Giants Baseball Team that it was for, and then saw what the Rare Ring was Valued at! Score! :^D
The Childs wrap around Brass Ring has GIANTS on the front, and a Baseball Glove and 2 crossed Bats, on each side of the band, on the inside of the Ring it reads ROBBINS CO. and something else under that I couldn't read, molded into the Ring. All the other information, is from the Ring that I found with my search!
Thank for looking, all comments are welcome! :^)
