FANTASY buckle. These were made in the late 1960s- 70s, so now they show enough aging to fool folks.

      No originals exists.

They were made with many different designs-- Wells Fargo, HD, Colt, Winchester and many other motifs.

They usually sell for less than $20 by those who know the story, but I have seen them bring several hundred when a new collector believes the hype.

I seriously doubt anyone would believe that Coke would approve of the female image. Coke was aimed at younger people and Coke was fairly conservative when it came to nudism. Sexy yes, nude no.

I like this piece a lot, and in my humble opinion I believed there is some value here. Coca Cola collector would love to have this in there collection.

Most collectors that I know prefer authentic/ original rather than forgeries, fakes or fantasy items.

If you're looking to add one to your collection, a quick search on ebay of "coke buckle" turns up numerous examples for less than $20:

      https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_trksid=m570.l1313&_nkw=coke+buckle&_sacat=0&LH_TitleDesc=0&_osacat=0&_odkw=coke+buckle

I stopped counting examples when I got to 25, about midway down on page one!

Scott is right about being fake. Additionally Coke has never endorsed nudity in any form in their advertising. They even rejected photo's of a pin up girl wearing a milk dress to sell Coca Cola milk. The photo's were released without the word Coca Cola but Coke refused to use them. They have pretty strict moral codes they stick to. No coke collector would bother with a fake item. If they do they are just a collector of junk.
