This vase is lucky to be here, thanks, to my husband who glued this not once, but twice. There's an incredible amount of damage and always felt it was worth saving. It's been sitting on the top shelf for sometime to hide the flaws but still enjoy it for what it is. Today we finally brought it down to photo after all these years because I finally found a good reference to say this is from Harrach. The photo to show the proof needed to understand the Harrach connection can be found in the Bohemian Glass group on Facebook. This is a museum photo and those photos provided in the group are not to be used in any other domain without permission.

Each colourless tube vase has a vertical fine rib decor pattern and the applied palm leaves are chartreuse. The tree trunk base is colourless.

This is so fabulous & definitely worth saving for posterity!
I really love this type of Victorian art glass - it's pure fantasy.
Well, I have several palm trees in my collection - three of which I am fairly certain are by John Walsh Walsh, & they have quite a different style to this piece. But there's another that I've never felt quite certain as a Walsh Walsh product - it's a double palm tree with a similar colouration to yours, & the same sort of twisted tree root base. Never even thought of the possibility of it being Harrach, but there you go!

Thanks, Warren, Phil and IronLace for the wonderful compliments!

IL. you have such a beautiful collection with so much to be admired! I looked at your collection of palm vases and the example from this link has a Harrach line drawing to confirm your shape. The line drawing can be found in the Bohemian Glass Facebook group for anyone to see. Thanks, so much for having and sharing your palm vases. Very exciting to see another example.

This is quite the “fantasy” as the legs look to be roots....
