I found this today in Berkeley. A little yellow ware crackle glaze chawan or teabowl. no signature, but i'm pretty sure that it's Japan - probably a recognizable type of pottery there. i love it's simplicity and grace. it feels good in my hand.
thanks rene! this has become my favorite bowl to drink tea in. it's much prettier than it looks in these photos.
