      I always called them the Proud Birds with the Cast Iron Tails!!! TWA took me and my fellow soldiers out of Viet-Nam in 67!!!

      It was something to see at Bein Hoa Air base!!! TWA plane landed with helicopter gunships on each side!!!! Us loading on the front gangway as the new troops exited off the back gangway!!! Us yelling SHORT!!! (meaning going home!!} Always wonder to this day sadly how many of them made it back??? The TWA plane was on the ground less then a half hour!!! Thanks and I love your Poetic Posts!!!
