"My mystery vase from Germany arrived this week, and did not turn out to be as nice as expected. The base is an amber translucent glass, with a textured exterior surface, which can be compared to the maze decor, but in a pulled application with the body showing a looser design.
"Frankly I found this vase disappointing because the exterior surface seems to have been piled on with various glass effects, some dark red shards as well as some thin surface opaque yellow glass, and an iridescent finish which morphs from cranberry to gold to silver over the lenght of the 11 inch vase.
The feel is rough, as if over time, the glass has oxidized and become pitted. As far as maker, i am leaning towards Kralik, because I have found several other handled vases with a similar shape, as the Passau vase as well as Al's vase in this decor.
I do own several early Kralik glass pieces with iridescent finish on a textured surface, and this vase is a lot like how they aged over the century since they were made, with wear and flaws to their textured iridescence surface. "

I wrote this post 2 years ago on Facebook in the Jugenstil art glass group, since then and recently I have formed a different opinion, due to a recent ripple decor shown on CW this week, that my vase shown here in 1 and 2, is possibly by Rindskopf. The other vases with similar shapes were Kralik with textured decors, and one was possibly by Fritz Heckert, in dark green with a fully treaded applied glass body.

The other 2 images are Rindskpof vases with the same type of fabrication, much air bubbles, lightweight yet thick glass, and a multi surface layered glass decor.

P.S. As images travel from one site to another, seems the size keeps getting smaller. I will enlarge these images and repost them.

Another glassworks came up yesterday with the ripple decor, courtesy of Leah G. by the firm of Schreiber & Neffen early 20th. Which fits well with the time period of the vases I am showing here.
