These were some of the Nice Finds that I got at the first Flea Market of the New Year 2020, it looks like the New Decade is starting Good! :^D I don't know if it was New Years Resolutions, or just Tax Time coming soon, but there was a lot of different things, at very good prices!
This is just a preview of future Posts, if there's something that interests you, or you just want a closer look, and more information on it, let me know, and I'll try to do a Post of it! :^D I got things from the 1700's, 1800's, and the 1900's, maybe even things from 2000's. I got Metal, Glass, Pottery, Plastic, Wood, and Paper! I got Art, Jewelry, Coins, Antiques, Housewares, Souvenirs, and Fashion pieces, all for your viewing pleasure! :^D
Thank you for looking, and all comments are welcome! :^)
Thank you so much for the love Elisabethan! :^)
Beautiful bird of paradise Bill, & cool Sheriff badge, plus other goodies. Nice finds!
Thanks Jenni, those 2 were in the same lot bag, and the Bird of Paradise brooch is the reason I saw, and got the bag. The "Tin" Badge, I think, was a Childs souvenir, from the Hearst Castle! :^D
Thanks for the love that you gave too, Jenni! :^)
Happy new decade, Bill! :-D
Ok, for once I’m by- passing the jewelry, because my attention went straight to something at the back of your table of treasures. That “tea or coffee” pot with the bird as the spout!
I have never seen anything like that! Would love to know more about it. And does it have “feet” or am I seeing things? ( I have to start yard sailing again!!)
At bottom of pic 2, are the rectangular objects shoe decorations? If they are, I’ve seen them incorporated into bracelets which turn out to be very interesting and pretty.
Bill I love the 'Hutchinson' bottle there. And also the 'Tea' pot.
Thanks Pascale, I hope your New Decade is starting Great also! :^D
Oh Eileen, that I think is a German Flagon, it's Octagon sided has a Bird Spout, hinged handle screw-on Top, and 3 Ball(I Thought) Feet, but they're 1" Pomegranate Feet. It has 3 touch marks on the bottom, that are the same, but I can hardly see them, looks like 3 letters over 2 crossed tools(guess) I found two other similar ones on line, from the 1600's, and 1700's, but I think mine is newer than those, maybe mid 1800's, but again a guess not knowing the marks on the bottom! I'll post it alone and show more of the detail on it later! :^D
Bill - Happy 2020 hunting! What nice treasures! It was a great junkin day! I wait to hear more that our friends commented on. I love the leather clutch w/silver clasp and the blue rhinestone clip between the shoe clips. Also the crystal bead crocheted bag. Love this post my friend :-)
Yes Watchsearcher, thanks, yes I believe they are as is the Triangle shaped one between them, all need to be cleaned, but I wanted to show first! :^D
Hey Rich thanks, I think that was a great buy too! I talked about my find of it, on another CW members Post of one they had, earlier Yesterday, so another reason I wanted to Post all my Finds! :^D
Thank you much my #1 Mary! I do think of you whenever I find these earlier Fashion pieces, and that Leather Clutch is very easy to date, because it has a NRA code Tag inside, so between 1932-35, no Maker, but a real Beauty! I'll try to get some closer looks of a lot of the things in this Post, because I'm so happy with these new Finds! :^D
Thank you all for stopping by for a look, and for the loves given,
Ken, Pascale, Brian, Watchsearcher, Rich, my #1 Mary, and Thomas, it's appreciated! :^)
Here's a link to two different German Flagons, that look similar to the one that I have:

I don't think mine is as old as these two are, but I could be wrong! :^)
Hi Kevin, thank you for taking a look, and giving a love! :^)
Thanks WesternPA-Collector, yes when I saw your Post of your Hutchinson Bottle, I wanted to get my Flea Market Finds Post up so you could see the one that I got! :^D Kind of a cross Country Bottle find! My Hutchinson Bottle came San Luis Obispo, Calif. S. L. O. Soda Works late 1880's, right on the Pacific Coast. The Ashtray I got because it's the same name as my Brother-in-law "BOB's" Food You'll Remember San Francisco, California! :^D
Thank you for the love that you gave,
WesternPA, bb2 was here, and Robert too! It's always good to get! :^)
aura, thanks for stopping by with a love! :^)
I think it is! There is nothing that even comes close to a design such as this...”nowadays”!
Or is there?
The bird spout seems like an extremely old trait to me. Then, again, I know nothing of metalware. I imagine this in Paul Revere’s home...it’s that cool!
Thanks Eileen, I hope you were able to see the Closer Look post that I did on this Flagon, you can see the detail better! :^)
