    Hello CW!!

The following Post is dedicated to the Good and Courageous People of the Country/Continent of Australia. A people who have been battling historic bush fires that have engulfed their landscape..A landscape that teams with a ecosystem of plant and wildlife that is found nowhere else in the World.
It has been estimated that it could take months to extinguish all of the flames..Australia has been very hard at work!!

Men At Work, from the Land down under, with their 1982 release, 'Cargo' on the CBS Record Lable.
This album features the songs 'Overkill' nd 'Dr. Heckyll And Mr. Jive'. The cover art on this LP I find very unique!!
My prayers and thoughts for You Australia, a country used to hard work when it comes time to roll up the sleeves!!

    Thank You,

Many thanks Thomas, your kind thoughts are much appreciated!
For sure this has been the worst summer that I've known in my 46 years. Hotter, drier, & windier than ever before. We've already had dry spells the last few years, at times when it normally rains in Eastern New South Wales - especially autumn & winter. Spring was extremely dry this year as well.
Was pretty nervous a couple of weeks back as we had fires on either side of us here in the Mountains. Smoke in the air, ashes raining down, & whole, blackened eucalyptus leaves falling in the yard. Thankfully out firefighters have done an amazing job, & the weather also has eased somewhat (although we're due for another very hot, windy day tomorrow).
Went for a drive to look at the local damage on the weekend & it's like a moonscape. A significant section of the train line is affected here & will take months to fully restore. But still, relatively minor compared to the devastation seen in other areas, some of which had never seen fires before.
BTW, classic choice of music - brings back a lot of memories from the early 1980s when Men At Work were massive! Down Under & Overkill are favourites of mine!

IronLace, I thought of AC/DC, but I thought they may be too much for this seems the World as a whole right now is totally changing, to what, I've no clue and in the words of Men At Work, "Who Can It Be Now..."!! Thank You As A

That was a dud ! It was a joke/experiment to see if some CW members would spend time looking in the bush and make comments. Guess we are all too old to care. LOL !
