Thank you Ken for the wonderful compliments, I too think that Pell made a very realistic flamingo here esp the wide body. Would really love to jet over to FL or HI right now to see some of these guys in person, don't they have the life, living in the warm & sunny tropics!
Your right Jenni- this flamingo is perfect on such a deep and dark Winter's day (at least it is for me anyway!) he's a beautiful summery bird that reminds me of wetlands and everglades and even beach holidays like in places like Malibu and the like! :P
Thanks Lauren for the really great comment, yes doesn't this pink bird cheer you in the winter, where I live in NY many folks spend the winter months in sunny Florida so you often get flamingo postcards - they are so lucky! I saw these birds at two different zoos while on vacation, one in Florida and one in Hawaii, and as you say they were in a natural wetlands habitat
